John joined Roundy’s leadership in 2003 and is responsible for the retail operations of our stores. The mission of John's team is centered on providing customers with an unprecedented, customer-engaging, service-oriented in-store experience.  Prior to accepting his role in operations, John served as Roundy's Group Vice President of Information Technology and Business Process Excellence for six years.

Before joining Roundy’s, John served as Senior Vice President of Global Services at StorageNetworks, Inc. Prior to that, he held senior executive positions at Dominicks, Food4Less Supermarkets, Thrifty Drug Stores and Lucky Stores. John holds a B.S. in Quantitative Business Analysis from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

The “foodie” in John takes shape through his interest in new ways to prepare favorite food for his family, and he particularly enjoys making great meals on the grill. At night or on weekends, you may find John riding up to a store on his Harley to observe a new technology application or just select the right bottle of wine for dinner.
