| Group Vice President – Human Resources Colleen joined Roundy’s in 2002 and oversees the functional areas of recruiting and staffing, employee communication, compensation and benefits, employee relations, organizational development and employee training. Colleen’s staff is responsible for managing all programs, benefits and initiatives that impact all 21,000 employees of the company. The entire HR team is focused on assuring a positive work environment and enabling employees to perform at their very best. Talent and learning are key elements of the HR strategy. As Roundy’s has grown quickly since 2002, so has its need for skilled employees. Campus recruiting has increased as well as the number of internal training opportunities for employees wishing to expand their industry knowledge. Colleen is a board member of the Milwaukee Urban League and The Roundy’s Foundation. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a Master’s degree in Business Management from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. Prior to joining Roundy’s, Colleen worked with Metavante, Northwestern Mutual Life and GE Medical Systems in Milwaukee. The “foodie” in Colleen draws her to the fresh departments in our stores. She claims to be easily distracted when walking through bakery and deli and is always on a quest to find new and interesting foods. |
