Roundy's is a privately held company owned by Willis Stein & Partners of Chicago, Illinois since 2002. Robert Mariano is chairman and chief executive officer. Senior leadership is comprised of eight group vice presidents and an executive vice president.

Roundy's employs more than 17,000 employees in its stores, distribution centers and home office. It operates Pick 'n Save and Copps stores in Wisconsin, and Rainbow Foods in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis-St. Paul.
