Thanks to customers and employees, Roundy's Supermarkets, Inc. is pleased to announce that it will be sending a check for $46,316 to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. The money is the result of a ten-day relief effort to help the victims in earthquake-ravaged Haiti. From January 21 - 31, all Pick 'n Save, Copps and Rainbow stores owned by Roundy's featured icons at each checkout depicting a map of Haiti and the phrase "Help Haiti." The icons were valued at $1. Customers choosing to donate only had to ask their cashier to swipe the icon to add a $1 donation to their grocery bill. Many customers donated more than $1. Additionally, employees at Roundy's headquarters based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, made contributions to the effort through a floral sale and individual checks. Roundy's "Help Haiti" relief effort was designed to provide customers and employees with a convenient way to donate to Haiti. About Roundy's Supermarkets, Inc.
