Roundy's Supermarkets Responds to South Milwaukee Water Emergency
Pick 'n Save Stocks More Water While Company Donates to Emergency Efforts

Milwaukee, February 5, 2010 - In response to a water main break that left the city of South Milwaukee without safe drinking water, Roundy's Supermarkets, Inc. and its South Milwaukee Pick 'n Save store have taken steps to ensure customers and residents have safe products and any bottled water they need.

The staff at Pick 'n Save in South Milwaukee immediately removed from its shelves any product that had come in contact with city tap water and shut down any operations that rely on the city's water supply. The store remains open to serve the community with a variety of perishable products thanks to shipments from other Pick 'n Save stores.

Roundy's has sent extra truckloads of bottled water to keep shelves stocked at Pick 'n Save in South Milwaukee. Additionally, the company has donated a truckload of bottled water to the American Red Cross in its efforts to help the city of South Milwaukee provide bottled water to its residents.
