Roundy's Foundation Donates $101,000 to Twelve Organizations
Recipients Serve Families in Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties
Milwaukee, October 3, 2008 - This week
the Roundy's Foundation awarded $101,000 in grants to twelve (12) non-profit agencies serving Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties. The presentations took place Wednesday, October 1, at noon at the corporate headquarters of Roundy's Supermarkets and included refreshments from Metro Market in downtown Milwaukee.
"I love these events," said Colleen Stenholt, Roundy's group vice president of
human resources and vice president of the Roundy's Foundation. "They give us a chance to recognize and support organizations that are truly making a difference in the communities our stores serve.
